Naho - I used to go exercise classes at the gym and wasn't sure if I will like virtual classes but so glad I joined GFL.

I really enjoy classes and noticed some positive changes in my life and myself.

Aloha! Kelley is known as the portable dance party! Students and clients adore her endless energy. Her compassion encourages everyBODY to shake, shimmy, stretch and be strong. She’s been in the fitness industry for 23 years filling her classes with surprises to make you smile. Kelley is one of the nation's most multi-talented instructors, winning several prestigious awards, and leading workshops around the world. She is currently certified to teach numerous fitness formats. She is also a Personal Trainer and private Pilates/Yoga Instructor on the beautiful island of Maui.

 

Kelley is the founder of the Hawaii Group Fitness Network. She is passionate about elevating the integrity of fitness instructors. She is continually involved in hosting trainings and workshops and ensuring continuing education opportunities are brought to the islands. She is committed to the professional development of the fitness and wellness industry.

Kelley balances a world of knowledge with a strong business sense. She has experienced forms of dance, martial arts, and yoga from places she has lived and traveled. Her love of music energizes her classes with a variety of sounds from around the globe. For many years she managed group fitness programs for large companies in San Francisco and Manhattan. For the last 12 years she has taught at resorts, studios, and gyms on Maui. When she's not instructing classes or clients she enjoys traveling, hiking, and watersports with her husband and son.

Kelley emphasizes the importance of exercising safely, effectively, and intelligently. Precision, persistence, patience, and perseverance she says are key to creating a healthy body and a positive mind. She motivates her students and clients to be accountable mentally, physically, and emotionally. Whether it’s tourists, children, celebrities, or ladies in their eighties, she enjoys inspiring them all to reach their goals of health and wellness.

Louise - I wish more people would take advantage of this great fitness opportunity. One other thing I love about GFL is that it's so flexible and always there when you want or need to exercise with someone. Even with Covid-19 we all live busy lives. I do other exercise besides the classes here. Right now I take one class per week at my gym just because I miss my friends, although I'm super cautious to maintain covid precautions.   I'm 69 years old and survived a double bypass 3 years ago. That's when I started to pay attention to my health and fitness.

I like your different classes and the way I access them. Living in Maui HI the time zones are not a problem because I can choose to do a class whenever I want because they are available.

I joined because of Kelley’s barre classes not being able to do them in my local gym. The convenience of classes available is a big plus for me it’s so good just to fall into the shower after and I don’t have to drive home.
