Virtual Aqua Aerobics: What You Need & How To

A virtual Water Aerobics class? How? Here's a quick "how to" and bullet point list of how you can have a successful aqua aerobics class, virtually:


What do you need:

1) Waist-deep water: A pool or spa work great

2) A device to stream the workout with

3) A speaker (if necessary)


If you have a smart TV outside, you're all set because you'd just use your television outside and it will be both loud enough and you'll be able to see just fine. Most people; however do not have a TV outside and so you can do any of the following:


1) Bring your device outside, but make sure to shield it from the sun using a chair, umbrella or just place in the shade

2) Amplify the sound with a speaker OR you can use waterproof headphones


As long as you can hear the class, you should be able to follow along just fine.


Final tip: Bring a plastic cup of ice water or water bottle pool-side because you will need to hydrate, even if you don't feel thirsty. We often forget to drink water when we are IN the water, but we want you to stay healthy, safe and hydrated.
